Meet your district’s social-emotional, trauma-sensitive and crisis needs through a high-quality, service-based learning millennial platform that provides multi-tier support. Participants will acquire a broad understanding of the curriculum, how service-learning relates to mental health and the value of wraparound support that creates social and emotional learning.

Virtual Interactive Based Education, alongside experience-based education, promotes social-emotional and academic development. We do this through active engagement in activities that empower students to think beyond themselves and develop resilience. As a positive, data-based system, we incorporate all the programmatic components of comprehensive school-based services. The trauma-sensitive needs of students, which reflect life in complex settings, are evident in the troubling issues that arise in many schools today—e.g., emotional upset, suicide, substance abuse, truancy, violence, bullying and academic failure. Mental health services in schools should extend beyond individual counseling to incorporate a wide range of programs that promote social-emotional learning, foster resilience, address student disengagement, and connect schools with communities. Rather than the traditional one-to-one intervention model, emerging trends in mental health services involve comprehensive efforts in strengthening schools and communities to optimize student learning.

Through a virtual interactive based education, schools use daily data-driven results to meet the cognitive, behavioral and social needs of students. The VIBE curriculum is a standards-based, social-emotional, character education and mental health curricula. An intervention alert system will notify the school staff of students at-risk and provide mental health support and services. Our unique, research-based system, will help to reduce harm with an individualized system for those students at-risk. Through Tier 3 interventions, a long-term treatment plan that provides rehabilitative services will be put in place to reduce crisis and suicide rates.

FSL partners with VIBE to provide tools that enable educators to continually evaluate data to enrich academic progress, social and emotional behavioral patterns, and service-learning. VIBE focuses on effective grade level practices supporting personal student growth. Together we wrap around the whole child and give each student long term successful results.
