The FSL will play a vital role in building healthy communities by providing cross-sector collaboration and grassroots efforts that boost morale, achievement, engagement, family and community involvement and provide long-term benefits in the lives of our members.
The FSL provides low cost, affordable experiential services to partnered rural communities, families and schools within Lyon, Osage, Wabaunsee, Morris, Chase and Coffee counties. Services provided beyond our partnered communities, will not receive reduced cost options.
Rural leaders and community members: The property and facilities will be acquired through the FSL Foundation. No community members will be taxed for any reason for this project. Every day we work to overcome rural barriers to develop strong relationship's with our partnered communities and to strengthen our fundraising efforts, grant partnerships and strategic plans to offer programs and services at low cost. If anyone has any questions, please submit a request on our contact page.
The FSL will also focus on rapidly increasing funding through for-profit grant opportunities and signature fundraising events to bring together community members, educators, rural community leaders and business owners as a collaborative effort to support rural communities, families and schools. This has been a large focus of ours over the last several years and we will continue our efforts.
There are so many ways to support our FSL collaborative services. In 2023 The FSL will be offering multiple programs and fundraising efforts that allow us to maximize exposure and generate increased funding.
Our events are a great way to assist your community needs and have a lot of fun at the same time. There will be several of the below items coming to an area near you.
Working together will provide educators, community leaders and parents with needed supports and innovative experiances.
